For Legal Professionals

The facts your
case is built on.

Fieldwork and enquiries in support of litigation, family and probate matters, prepared with disclosure and admissibility in mind from day one.

Working With Lawyers

Solicitors and barristers instruct us where a case needs facts that only fieldwork can establish. We trace and interview witnesses, serve enquiries, verify accounts and gather the material a legal team needs to advise with confidence.

We understand the demands of legal work: deadlines, disclosure obligations and the requirement that everything we produce is admissible and properly sourced. Reports are prepared with litigation in mind from the first day of the instruction.

Civil Litigation Support

In civil disputes, the strength of your position often rests on evidence the other side would prefer stayed hidden. We support claimants and defendants with witness location and statements, enquiries into the other party's circumstances, verification of claims made in proceedings and status reports ahead of enforcement.

Whether the matter is a contractual dispute, a debt claim or a contested estate, we provide the factual groundwork on which a case is built.

Child Custody Applications

Where the welfare of a child is in question, the court needs an accurate picture of the circumstances. We support parents and their solicitors in child custody applications by establishing facts relevant to living arrangements, care and conduct, sensitively and lawfully.

This is some of the most delicate work we do. It is carried out with restraint, with the child's welfare in mind, and reported in a form suitable for family proceedings.

Missing Beneficiary Tracing

Estates cannot be properly distributed while a beneficiary named in a will cannot be found. Acting for executors, administrators and probate solicitors, we trace missing beneficiaries in the UK and overseas, confirm their identity and entitlement, and document the search so the estate can be settled correctly.

Where a beneficiary has died, we establish the position and identify those who may stand in their place, giving the estate a clear and defensible record of the steps taken.

Matters We Support

Whatever the area of law, we provide the factual groundwork solicitors and barristers rely on. From a single enquiry to a full field investigation, our work is prepared to an evidential standard throughout.

Instruction on Your Terms

We work the way legal teams need us to. Instructions can be a one off enquiry or an ongoing arrangement across a caseload, and our reporting is prepared with disclosure, CPR Part 35 considerations and admissibility in mind.

Every investigator understands that an instruction may end up before a court, so chain of custody, accurate record keeping and proportionality are built into the work from the first step. Where a matter falls outside what can be done lawfully, we tell you at the outset.
